Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a dynamic and patient-focused pharmacist to join a committed team delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services in a major tertiary hospital setting.

As the Dispensary Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the inpatient and outpatient dispensary services, manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and ensure the efficient and safe supply of medications across the hospital. You will work collaboratively with Clinical Pharmacy, Nursing and Medical Teams to deliver best-practice care, while driving improvements in workflow, medication safety and staff development.

This position contributes to teaching and research, including mentorship of pharmacy intern and university pharmacy student placements, as well as the development of clinical practice initiatives and advancements of Lithgow Hospital. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the day to day operations and the management of all human, financial and physical resources for Lithgow Hospital Pharmacy Services.

This is your opportunity to take the next step in your pharmacy career within one of Western Sydney's key health hubs. If you're ready to lead, inspire and make a real difference in patient care, we want to hear from you. Apply Today
