HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waste Management Operative Assistant. In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our hospital. Your tasks will include upholding a superior standard of waste collection services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and performing additional tasks as reasonably required by the supervisor.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
  • Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents; temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
  • This is a NSW Health Category A position requiring immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for the full list of required vaccines. During application, upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have.
