Canberra, ACT, Australia ClearCompany Full time
Make your next move count.

This is not just another job ad. It's a rare opportunity to join a nationally recognised firm with a strong foothold in the property and commercial space, where your expertise isn't just appreciated, it's amplified.

We're looking for someone who's ready to step into a leadership role with the backing of a progressive equity group that values innovation, collaboration, and growth.

About You:
You're an experienced property lawyer who's built a solid reputation and a good following. You might be:
  • A Special Counsel who's hit the ceiling at your current firm, wondering if partnership is ever going to be more than a vague promise.
  • A Partner who's already made it, but feels undervalued, underwhelmed, or simply ready for a firm that aligns with your ambition and values.
Either way, you're looking for a platform where your contribution is recognised, your growth is supported, and your future is yours to shape.

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll lead and advise on a broad range of property matters, including:
  • Residential and commercial acquisitions, disposals, and developments
  • Leasing for both landlords and tenants
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, contracts, deeds, licences, and more
  • Advising a diverse client base—from developers to vendors, landlords to tenants
What You Bring:
  • At least 8+ years' post-admission experience in property law
  • A strong background in leasing, acquisitions, disposals, and developments
  • Sharp drafting and negotiation skills, and a commercial mindset
  • A genuine interest in leadership and business development
  • A portable client base is advantageous
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
What's on Offer:
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values people as much as performance
  • A firm that prioritises mental health, gender equality, and work-life balance
  • Support from a progressive equity group that backs your growth
  • The chance to build your practice with the strength of a well-established brand
  • A workplace where your voice matters and your impact is real
Ready to Take the Leap?

If you're ready to do more than just move firms, if you're ready to move forward, then we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now or reach out to Danielle Kyle on 0412 519 459 for a confidential discussion.
