Job Title: Veterinary Practice Manager

Location: Foothills Animal Hospital

About Us: Join our dynamic and busy veterinary clinic, open 7 days a week, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our beloved animal patients.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our veterinary clinic. This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of our practice, implement innovative ideas, and ensure the highest standard of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, people leadership, a passion for animal care, and a knack for strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of our busy 7-day-a-week veterinary clinic.
  • Manage and lead a team of veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the clinic and enhance service offerings.
  • Introduce new ideas and best practices to improve clinic efficiency and patient care.
  • Maintain financial health of the clinic through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage client relations and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement of supplies and equipment.
  • Implement and manage clinic marketing and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in practice management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Passion for animals and commitment to providing excellent veterinary care.
