Blue Crane Consulting Group is hiring Lean Six Sigma consultants to support improvement and transformation work across our clients' health and aged care services and various insurance businesses. These are delivery-focused roles working alongside a senior team with deep experience in Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, and business excellence.

You'll work directly with clinical, operational, and support teams to identify improvement opportunities, facilitate structured problem-solving, and support sustainable implementation. You will independently lead and deliver end-to-end DMAIC projects while supporting development of new skills and continuous improvement capability in the teams you are working with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Lean Six Sigma projects in health or aged care settings or insurance or corporate shared services
  • Facilitate workshops, map processes, and guide structured problem solving
  • Support internal teams to build continuous improvement capability
  • Analyse performance data and process gaps
  • Contribute to business process management or process architecture, where relevant

Desired Capabilities

  • Experience in health, aged care, human services environments, insurance and/or corporate support services
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (or demonstrated experience at that level)
  • Familiarity with Business Excellence Frameworks (e.g., ABEF, EFQM)
  • Effective workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with BPM or process architecture
  • Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work both on-site with the client and remotely, as needed. Some client locations are outside of Sydney and may require your to have your own transport.
