Overview:
Currie & Brown is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects. This role provides a great opportunity to work alongside senior project managers, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the successful execution of client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality from initiation through to completion.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.

Support project reporting, meeting minutes, and status updates for internal and client review.

Track progress against project plans and flag potential issues or delays.

Help manage procurement processes, contract documentation, and tender evaluations.

Participate in design coordination, construction meetings, and site inspections.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on projects.

Support the change management process and maintain proper project documentation.

Work closely with the cost management and design teams for integrated project delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction or consultancy industry.

Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery frameworks is an advantage.
