Join a Flexible Team as a Medical Receptionist at a Dermatology Clinic (Geni Software Experience Required)
AUD $30 - $35 per hour + Superannuation
Permanent Part-Time – 3 Days a Week

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in medical administration and proficiency with Geni software, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors warmly, creating a professional and caring first impression.
  • Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and follow-ups using Geni software.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate, friendly assistance to patient inquiries.
  • Process invoices, payments, and Medicare/private health fund claims with attention to detail.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure accuracy in all administrative tasks.
  • Support doctors and healthcare staff by coordinating schedules and patient flow.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience using Geni practice management software is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • High attention to detail, particularly with invoicing and billing procedures.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently across designated days.
