Director - Business Engagement

This position is a manager role within the Simplified Trade System (STS) Taskforce. The Director/Manager - Business Engagement will display leadership and people management skills, including:
- Assigning clear roles and responsibilities to team members on every project.
- Identifying areas for further development of team members and providing constructive feedback.
- Recognising and rewarding good performance.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Fostering a co-operative approach with stakeholders to achieve organisational outcomes.
- Providing progress reports on team plans and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver team outcomes with a focus on best practice and continual improvement.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working as a Business Engagement Manager, ideally within government, and will possess strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical terminology.
