Overview

Exciting role for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to take ownership of legal support roles nationally. This is a full-time role based in Melbourne.

The Role

Due to an internal move, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our national HR team. In this role, you'll take the reins on recruitment for legal support positions, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for candidates and leaders. You will work alongside our Talent Acquisition Lead, contributing to strategic hiring initiatives, building strong relationships across the firm, and help shape our approach to attracting top talent in legal support functions.

This is a full-time position based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting job advertisements and posting on job boards;
  • Taking ownership of legal support and internal firm services roles;
  • Liaising with partners and managers to coordinate recruitment needs;
  • Assisting in the candidate screening process including phone screens and in-person interviews;
  • Conducting background and reference checks;
  • Drafting employment contracts;
  • On-boarding new employees;
  • Driving the employee referral campaign via monthly recruitment updates to the firm; and
  • Assisting with any ad hoc HR activities as required by the Chief Human Resources Officer and generalist HR team.
Who We Are Looking For

This opportunity is ideal for someone with between 1–2 years' experience in either an agency or internal recruitment setting, looking to further develop their career in a dynamic and professional environment. A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce will be highly regarded.

We're seeking a confident and personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You'll bring strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and a polished, professional presence. Your ability to stay organised, take initiative, and juggle competing priorities with a proactive, can-do attitude will set you up for success in this role.
