As Workshop Technician, you will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality.
(Salary range - AUD 85k /annum – AUD 110k/ annum - Full time)
As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment
- Ensuring that the necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures and qualifications are available to perform the job according to the WOP and the BH EHS standing requirements.
- Commissioning, running, maintaining and repairing Baker Hughes equipment.
- Ensuring that the workshop procedures cover the actual work, and that they are followed.
- Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all time.
- Ensuring that the workshop equipment, and facilities are suitable and in operational condition.
- Ensuring that WOP is followed, filled in with necessary information, contain correct documentation and are signed and completed.
- Ensuring the use of materials and support substances according to specific requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
- Have the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Have mechanical fitting cert III qualification or similar
- Have a good mechanical skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment show good problem-solving,
- Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills,
- Have the ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers
- Have experience and knowledge within subsea segment such as trees, chokes, IWOCS, controls system is .
