The position will provide leadership and manage a team of staff in the delivery of an inclusive and quality education and care service (Whitehorse Early Learning Services – (WELS)), to meet the needs of children and families in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and council values and behaviours.
This role is responsible for the operational management of a Children's Services Centre. Working in partnership with children, families and the wider community, this role will champion and lead pedagogical development and service delivery in line with Council policy, practice, and requirements.

Relevant Qualifications, Certificates and LicencesHighly developed leadership skills along with prior experience in leading a medium-sized, diverse team and sustaining a positive team culture.An ability to work under limited supervision and use professional knowledge and experience in making decisions and assessments.Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage and work with a diverse range of stakeholders.A capacity to contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative and flexibility.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current best practice in the provision of early childhood education and care services.In return, we will offer :
