Overview

Public Sector People is partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for a Development Assessment Planner for a 3-month contract.

Rate: Up to $88 p/h + Super

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with local environmental plans (LEPs), development control plans (DCPs), and the NSW planning legislation.
  • Provide recommendations and reports for council decision-making or delegated approvals.
  • Consult with residents, developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders on planning matters.
Essential Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban/Town Planning or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a Development Assessment Planning position or equivalent
