Port Melbourne Physiotherapy & Pilates is a vibrant and dynamic allied health clinic situated opposite the beach in Port Melbourne. We offer Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Women's Health Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy, Remedial Massage and Dietetic services. We work closely with GP clinics, specialist centres and other allied health professionals across Melbourne.

We're looking for a part time receptionist with a capacity to work in a busy, fast-paced and fun team environment. The successful applicant will report to the practice manager and clinic directors, but will be required to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front desk reception- greeting and being the first point of call to clients, responding to telephone and email enquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and pilates classes using our practice management software, Cliniko
  • Managing patient payments and invoicing via HICAPS and Medipass
  • Interacting and assisting therapists with their administration needs
  • Stock ordering and stock control
  • General administrative duties
  • General duties ensuring cleanliness and presentation of the clinic and Pilates studio
  • Liaising with GP and specialist clinics

The Successful Applicant Will Have The Following Required Qualities
  • Excellent customer service skills, friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional at working within a team towards a common goal and the ability to work independently
  • Have a strong work ethic with the desire to continuously improve
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Well organised with strong prioritisation skills and attention to detail
  • Good computer skills- Microsoft word, Google sheets, practice management software. Previous Cliniko experience an advantage, but not required.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment along with Reception/Administrative experience

Training will be provided, however experience working in the healthcare environment would be valuable.

Hours Required

Our clinic is open Monday to Thursday 8am-8pm, Fri 8-5pm and Saturday 8-1pm. The available position will cover approximately 18 - 22 hours per week, with current available shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's. Applicants that have the flexibility to cover additional shifts due to leave of other team members is highly desirable.

Annual leave, paid public holidays and personal leave are all included in permanent Part - time position. Salary is based on the Health Professional and Support Services Award and will reflect your experience in similar roles. A view to possible further hours in the future based on the needs of the clinic.
