About the Position:

Are you a driven Family Lawyer ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? Our client is offering a rare opportunity to join their Brisbane office in a senior leadership capacity, where you will lead your own team and shape the future of the family law practice.

This role is ideal for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with at least 10 years of PAE who is looking to develop into a Partner. You will mentor a small but growing team including a Junior Lawyer and a Paralegal, while handling a stimulating caseload covering parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, and domestic violence matters.

You'll be empowered to drive strategic growth, contribute to business development, and recruit additional talent as the practice expands. With realistic billable expectations and access to high-quality clients, this is your opportunity to develop your leadership credentials while delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years PAE in Family Law (private practice preferred)
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Expertise across property, parenting, divorce, and DV matters
  • Accredited Specialist in Family Law (highly desirable)
  • Business development mindset and strong communication skills
  • Desire to lead a team and grow a practice in a thriving city location
On Offer:
  • $200,000 – $250,000+ salary package (depending on experience)
