About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team to service client offices, medical areas and accommodations.

Classification: Level 1

Rate: $29.73, plus other allowances as applicable

Shifts: Expected that this will be a minimum of a 10hr per week commitment, mostly during Monday to Friday, however, weekend work may also become available. Please note, as this is a new client, full details around working hours are in development. Additional fill in shifts may be available from time to time.

Location: Port Augusta

What You'll Be Doing

  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens, including toilets, urinals, dispensers, sinks, mirrors
  • Waste, rubbish, recycling removal
  • Vacuum and wash floors, paying particular attention to corners and edges
  • Dust areas within cleaning scope
  • Replace and replenish provided supplies, eg. toilet paper, liquid hand soap, bin liners
  • Spot clean walls and other areas as required and remove cobwebs or other unsightly items
  • Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate with Manager as needed

What you'll bring
  • Have the right to work in Australia, hold current national police check, and have willingness to apply for other compliance checks such as working with children check
  • Have a driver licence and reliable personal vehicle to travel to place of work
  • Previous commercial cleaning knowledge and experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and manage tasks effectively
  • High level of customer service skills with a friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and passion for cleanliness
  • Have an acceptable level of physical and mental fitness
