Commercial Assessing Coordinator (ASCO) – 12 Month Opportunity

Locations: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne

We're seeking a Commercial Assessing Coordinator (ASCO) to manage assessing and towing workflows from lodgement through to repair, providing claims and administrative support with outstanding customer service. This 12-month secondment offers a great opportunity to develop skills and gain exposure across key operational areas.

About the Role :

As an ASCO, you'll play a critical role in getting our customers Back on the Road, ensuring operational efficiency while supporting internal stakeholders and customers. You'll coordinate assessments and towing, manage claim costs, and proactively support customers, intermediaries, and suppliers to deliver a seamless and empathetic experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Assessing & Towing Coordination
  2. Support the assessment triage process and allocate assessments based on complexity, customer needs, location, and expertise.
  3. Coordinate and oversee towing operations, negotiating and managing towing and storage costs.
  4. Identify and communicate risks or sensitive claims to ensure appropriate assessor allocation.
  1. Claims Cost Management
  2. Ensure accurate reserving and use of cost-effective fulfilment methods and suppliers.
  3. Negotiate settlements and identify suspected fraudulent claims, recoveries, and salvage opportunities.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with customers, suppliers, and brokers related to Commercial Motor Claims.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of claim progress.
  • Prepare correspondence, handle issues and complaints, maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Claims Management

  • Gather and interpret information for claims and make appropriate decisions.
  • Create and manage action plans for claim fulfilment.
  • Manage service providers and record accurate claim information in the system.
