We are seeking an experienced Manager to join a CFO Advisory team within a leading mid-tier professional services firm. This role supports CFOs and finance teams with projects in finance transformation, technical accounting, and reporting. You'll lead engagements, manage staff, and build strong client relationships while helping grow an expanding practice.

Our client is a nationally recognised professional services firm with a strong advisory and assurance presence. Their CFO Advisory division partners with businesses across industries to improve finance functions — from streamlining processes and reporting tools to complex accounting and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Lead finance advisory projects for CFOs and senior teams
  • Advise on reporting, compliance, and technical accounting
  • Manage client relationships and deliver insights
  • Coach and develop junior staff
  • Support proposals and business development
  • Contribute to team resourcing and training

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance + CA/CPA
  • 5–7 years' experience in professional services or commerce
  • Background in audit, advisory, finance transformation or reporting
  • Strong client engagement and project management skills
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards & Corporations Act
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/reporting tools a plus
