Fractional CFO/COO

We're Hiring: Fractional CFO/COO (1–2 Days/Week or 15–20 Hours/Month)

Remote | Flexible | Paid + Equity

Fayshell is a fast-growing, membership-based skin clinic brand on a mission to make skin health as routine as hair or nails. We've got two thriving clinics, backing from great investors, and a skincare line (Skimchi) on the way and we're now entering a big growth phase.

We've just rolled out a new business model, launched high-margin laser treatments, and are building out the team and structure to scale. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a commercially-minded Fractional CFO/COO to help tighten up our financial strategy, support and improve out day-to-day operations, and mentor our emerging leadership team as we grow. It's a flexible, part-time role (roughly 1–2 days/week), paid hourly with a small equity component.

What You'll Be Across

Finance Strategy

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
  • Help refine board and investor reporting (monthly cadence)
  • Liaise with our bookkeeper to keep the numbers clean and accurate
  • Responsible for all pricing/margin analysis

Operational Oversight

  • Spot gaps and suggest improvements across daily ops
  • Help shape org structure and clarify team roles as we grow
  • Build simple systems and dashboards for reporting and accountability

Team Support & Strategic Input

  • Be a steady presence and sounding board for the leadership team
  • Mentor our up-and-coming ops lead (currently our store manager)
  • Keep the big picture in mind without getting lost in the weeds
  • Help plan allocation of capital and resources to fuel growth

Who You Are

  • A sharp operator or ex-consultant who's worked with startups or scale-ups (preferably 5+ years of experience)
  • Strategic, calm, and pragmatic — especially when things get messy
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys mentoring and building capability
  • Comfortable working independently, async, and without hand-holding

Time & Location

  • Around 1–2 days/week (or 15–20 hours/month)
  • Mostly remote, but you're welcome to join us in our Neutral Bay office if local
  • Hourly pay + small equity component (vesting or milestone-based)

Reporting Structure

This is a founder-facing role. You'll also collaborate with our board, bookkeeper, and team leads to keep things moving smoothly.
