About the role

In this pivotal role, you'll provide strategic leadership in technology workforce capacity planning in, capability alignment, and long-range forecasting across a complex digital and technology portfolio of 100 plus concurrent projects. This a key experience we will be looking for so it is very important to address this in your cover letter.

As a key partner to portfolio and operations leaders, you\'ll enable smarter, faster, and more transparent resourcing decisions, reducing reliance on contractors, growing internal capability, and ensuring that our workforce is always aligned to the future of healthcare technology.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead portfolio-wide workforce planning strategies and long-range forecasting.
  • Govern enterprise resource allocations and workforce prioritisation.
  • Identify future capability needs across platforms, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity.
  • Partner with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Technology leaders to deliver workforce alignment.
  • Drive adoption of advanced planning and resource analytics tools.
  • Coach and develop a small team while leading Communities of Practice to uplift resource planning capability.
About you

You\'re a strategic thinker with a strong background in technology workforce or resource planning, ideally with:

  • 7+ years\' experience in enterprise workforce/resource planning within technology operations or transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to lead forecasting, capacity planning, and capability alignment.
  • Strong understanding of technology delivery environments and portfolio governance.
  • Experience using PPM and resource planning tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at an executive level.

Experience in health, aged care, or other regulated industries;

Certification in workforce planning, portfolio management, or SAFe.
