About the roleWe have an opportunity for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to be part of our Auburn Police Area Command. The Senior Intelligence Analyst applies expertise in making assessments and predictions to support decision making through a variety of tasks from tactical intelligence functions to strategic reporting on threats and challenges to NSW Police Force.
This opportunity will allow for individuals who have an interest in the Intelligence field to learn practices, concepts and systems in a strategic, operational and tactical environment.
Applicants should be willing to complete Fundamental intelligence training, have knowledge of COPS and MS Excel is preferred.
- Statistical/ Strategic support to the Intelligence Team
- Liaising with Specialist and Region offices
- Supplying intelligence support to run operations
PETE is the NSW Police Force internal training online platform. Applicants should have completed or be willing to complete the Intelligence Fundamentals course on PETE. Excel fundamentals and Intermediate Excel courses are also beneficial.

Target Question 1:
An essential requirement of this role is to have a sound understanding of tactical and strategic intelligence, and ability to apply intelligence concepts and ability to prepare intelligence assessments and reports. Please explain how you meet this requirement.
Target Question 2:
As a Senior Intelligence Analyst in the NSW Police Force you are responsible for making assessments and predictions to support decision-making. Outline some key knowledge elements and skill sets that you have obtained from your education, training and work experience to support Auburn PAC.
