Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to work in our Advanced Analytics team.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity will see you working with large, complex data sets to help drive business decision-making and improve insurance schemes. You will be responsible for performing advanced analytics, implementing data visualization solutions and research activities using various data sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain databases for reporting and analysis purposes
- Design and implement data visualization solutions using R, SAS and PowerBI
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of business intelligence principles and practices
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, SQL and Python
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools and technologies
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
