Join Swinburne University of Technology as an HDR Candidature and Progress Specialist. This role guides Higher Degree by Research candidates from enrolment to thesis submission, interprets policy, manages data integrity, and streamlines processes across multiple systems including CAPP and Student One. Location: Hawthorn campus with flexible work options available.
Responsibilities- Guide HDR candidates and supervisors through milestones from enrolment to thesis submission, ensuring compliant, well-supported progress.
- Interpret policy, manage data integrity, and streamline processes across systems (CAPP, Student One).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and deliver high-quality service to stakeholders.
- A degree with substantial relevant experience; or equivalent professional experience and expertise.
- Experience in developing, implementing and applying policies to ensure compliance with university and research administration requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to liaise with staff, candidates and the public; produce high-quality written material.
- Advanced skills in standard office software; ability to learn new programs; knowledge of databases; prior use of Student One advantageous.
