Job Description

Are you a Diesel Fitter looking to begin stepping up into leadership roles? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Fitter (7/7 day/night roster) to join our team. You will work with the team to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and safety is paramount. Key duties will include:

  • Servicing and repairs of Heavy Mobile equipment including but not limited to 793F Rear dumps, D10T Dozers. D11T Dozers, 18M Graders
  • Working closely with the reliability team and OEM to identify and maintain high equipment standards and availability.
  • Maintaining daily work management, equipment and safety standards.
  • Operating within sites SHMS
  • Stepping up into Leading Hand and Supervisor roles when required

Qualifications

What we expect from you:
  • Australian recognized trade certificate (Mechanical fitter)
  • At least 3 years mining experience with exposure to 793F Rear dumps, D10T Dozers. D11T Dozers, 18M Graders
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
  • A can do attitude
  • SAP experience (or willing to learn)
  • Contribute to a safety first culture
  • Ability to identify and report hazards
  • Adhere to sites SHMS
  • Engage and or conduct Leading Safety interactions
