McCosker Contracting are seeking applications from experienced Diesel Fitters for a project in Gove, NT.

Location: Gove, Northern Territory

  • Attractive rates of pay (including overtime >38 hours, site allowance, travel allowance, and retention allowance)
  • Weekly pay
  • Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
  • Fly in Fly out position or local role available
  • Monday to Friday roster with optional weekend work for local candidates
  • Flights, meals, accommodation, and travel payment applies for non-local candidates

The successful candidate will form part of our heavy equipment maintenance team which maintains our civil construction fleet with over 100+ pieces of machinery, providing specialist advice and servicing support across various sites.

To be successful in this role:

  • Qualification in Engineering – Mechanical / Diesel Fitting / Mobile Plant or equivalent
  • Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Induction (white card)
  • Experience in PM maintenance, fault diagnostics, and repairs of civil construction earthmoving equipment
  • Able to finish work to quality standards
  • Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
  • Have a strong commitment to safety of self and others
