Rockingham General Hospital are currently seeking a pool of Registered Midwives for permanent - full time/part time, fixed term - full time/part time and casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Our dedicated Midwives work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive evidence-based midwifery/nursing care to patients. • Provide comprehensive evidence-based midwifery/nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality of care aligned with the service motto.
• Participate in open, collaborative communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

• Registered Midwife (Australian registration).
• For fixed term appointments: valid working visa; for permanent appointments: Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.

• Your Application Should Include:
• A copy of your current CV
• The names and contact details of two current referees who can attest to your suitability for this role
• A cover letter no longer than 1-2 pages demonstrating:
• Your clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-based midwifery/nursing care within the practice setting
• An example of your interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with an ability to liaise effectively with patients, individuals and a multidisciplinary team
