Join the University of the Sunshine Coast's vibrant Student Services team in this pivotal role supporting the systems and processes that underpin our students' academic journeys. As the Administration Officer (Data Management), you will contribute to the effective delivery of UniSC's programs and timetabling by maintaining curriculum data, assisting with student enrolments, and helping coordinate class scheduling across multiple campuses.
Working closely with the Manager, Curriculum Data and Student Systems, and collaborating with stakeholders across the University, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate program configuration and optimal use of teaching spaces. - contribute to the development and maintenance of UniSC's class timetables, supporting efficient use of teaching space;
- provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations relating to scheduling and curriculum data; and
- liaise with stakeholders across faculties and campuses to implement curriculum changes and scheduling adjustments.
About you:
You're an organised, tech-savvy professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep complex systems running smoothly. You bring a strong customer service ethic, and you're confident communicating with colleagues across different departments to find collaborative solutions.
Whether you're troubleshooting enrolment issues, updating data, or supporting timetable development, you bring care, accuracy, and a proactive mindset. Your experience in a student administration or data-focused role in the tertiary sector sets you up for success in this role.
You will possess:
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in student administration, ideally within higher education;
- Strong knowledge of student information systems (PeopleSoft or similar);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach;
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and develop innovative, efficient solutions;
- High-level computer literacy including Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, and UniSC's values of integrity, excellence, and collaboration.
