As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support Senior Project Managers in the end-to-end delivery of design & construct projects. You'll gain exposure to all project phases while taking responsibility for project administration, contract management, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project reporting.
  • Coordinating design consultants and managing contractor engagement.
  • Administering contracts, procurement documentation, and change management processes.
  • Monitoring project schedules, costs, and risks.
  • Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and clients.
  • Supporting project closeout and compliance requirements.

This role would suit a Contract Administrator, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Client-Side Project Manager, Architect, or Design Manager with a few years' experience delivering design & construct projects in Sydney.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
  • Confident in project administration, reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiar with procurement, contracts, and risk management processes.
  • Proficient in Procore, Aconex, or similar project management systems.
  • Ambitious, organised, and eager to grow into a Project Manager role quickly.

This is a full-time, 5 days a week role, offering the flexibility that comes with client-side/development work. You'll also have the opportunity to visit sites daily, staying closely involved in delivery while enjoying the balance of a client-side position.
