Are you fluent in Auslan and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals with disability?

We are seeking passionate Auslan Support Workers for our clients in metro South regions (including Armadale, Kelmscott, Cannington, and Canning Vale) to provide support to clients with disability, including verbal and non-verbal participants, with all aspects of daily living such as personal care and community access support.

You will be working to promote social inclusion, health, and wellbeing by empowering people with disabilities to achieve their full potential. You will offer tailored services and care programs to participants of the NDIS, providing a range of person-centred supports to meet individual needs.

  • Proficiency in Auslan.
  • Experience working with people with various disabilities, including non-verbal and vision impairment.
  • High levels of trust, honesty, and integrity to maintain professional relationships.
  • Resilience and experience working with challenging situations.
  • Ability and willingness to support social and leisure activities.
  • Computer and mobile phone proficiency to access apps, emails, and web-based applications such as rosters, case notes, and incident reports.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Current First Aid certificate (valid for at least 1 year).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current WA Working With Children's Check.
  • Current Australian Driver's License and insured vehicle.
  • Ability to provide personal care, including support with feeding, hygiene, dressing, and hoisting.
  • Willingness to undergo paid training provided by the organization.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability.
