North Sydney – Acoustic Engineering Firm

Are you technically minded and passionate about environmental precision? We're looking for a Field Technician to join our growing team and take charge of our on-site and remote environmental monitoring equipment—ensuring everything from deployment to data analysis runs like clockwork.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the technical performance of environmental monitoring equipment, particularly noise and vibration monitors.
  • Coordinating servicing, calibration, and repairs of monitoring devices to maintain high accuracy and reliability.
  • Deploying and retrieving monitors across various sites across Sydney and regional NSW, ensuring seamless operational transitions.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers to align monitoring strategies with project requirements.
  • Processing logger data for integration into detailed assessments and compliance reports.
  • Compiling and delivering regular monitoring reports, ensuring stakeholders stay informed with accurate, timely insights.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on technical aptitude.
  • Experience or training in environmental monitoring equipment preferred.
  • Ability to interpret data and support reporting tasks.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, especially with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive attitude and keen attention to detail.
