Traverse Alpine Group is excited to announce multiple openings for culinary positions, including Cooks, Chefs, Commis Chefs, Chef de Parties, and Sous Chefs. We are looking for dedicated individuals passionate about food and committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. Our focus on teamwork, quality, and innovative cuisine offers a fulfilling opportunity for culinary professionals at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, ensuring the highest standards of taste and presentation
  • Assist in menu development and recipe creation, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff and share culinary knowledge to foster a positive team atmosphere
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance culinary skills

Requirements
  • Experience as a Cook, Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef, depending on the position
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred for higher positions
  • Passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
