Job Overview:
This role is ideal for a Salesforce certified administrator or early career consultant with Marketing Automation or Digital experiences. You need to be ready to step up. It's a 2-3 year opportunity to prove yourseld; to grow your consulting capabilities, take on real delivery responsibilities, and eventually earn your place as a Functional Consultant. Success in this role isn't automatic - it requires initiative, continuous learning, and a drive to deliver outcomes. You'll be supported - but this journey is yours to own.
Role and Responsibilities
- Take ownerhip of clearly defined workstreams—often within smaller or standalone projects—with guidance and support from more senior team members.
- Deliver hands-on solution tasks across configuration, testing, documentation, and training for clients and internal initiatives.
- Contribute to business analysis and requirement gathering, including interviews and workshop preparation or facilitation support.
- Draft high-quality user stories, process maps, and solution documentation.
- Assist with data migration and integration activities using established frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on client communication, risk tracking, and milestone reporting, particularly on smaller projects.
- Deliver support services through our Managed Service offering as part of your development path.
- Work proactively within AlphaSys delivery methodologies—asking for help when needed, but showing consistent ownership of tasks.
- Progress toward Salesforce certifications, delivery skills, and leadership behaviours aligned to the Functional Consultant pathway.
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 years of Salesforce experience in a system administrator, marketing automation, or consultant capacity.
- At least 1 formal Salesforce Certification required or actively being pursued.
- Experience with community-facing platforms (e.g.Marketing Cloud or Wordpress) is advantageous.
- Ideally experience consulting on Web or Marketing Automation projects for clients who are using Salesforce.
- Must be based in Australia (preferably Sydney) and hold a valid permit to work on a permanent basis.
Skills:
- Foundational understanding of Marketing Automations processes and tools.
- Foundational understanding of Salesforce core objects, automation tools, and reporting features.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentation.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to understanding business processes and user needs.
- Ability to work independently on tasks while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning new tools, domains, and delivery methods.
- Passion for using technology to improve real-world outcomes in purpose-driven sectors.
