About the role

As the Training and Capability Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of learning and engagement programs for Firefighting Services. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure training schedules are met, as well as building strong relationships, ensuring compliance is maintained, and capability gaps are addressed through data-driven insights and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of the annual Firefighter training schedule, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • Analyse training data and stakeholder feedback to enhance program effectiveness and address learning needs.
  • Ensure compliance with ASQA/NZQA standards and internal quality frameworks across all training initiatives.
  • Manage training documentation and invoicing processes, maintaining accuracy and adherence to organisational policies.
About you

You're a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for learning and development. You bring:

  • Experience in emergency response environments (Desirable)
  • Qualifications in business administration, training, or equivalent experience is also desirable
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in LMS, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools (Power BI a bonus)
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for Defence Security Clearance
