Commercial Operions Manager

The Commercial Operations Manager will have direct impact on the club's financial performance and market positioning. Success in this role is essential for the company's overall growth and sustainability.
Albion Park is steeped in historical significance, with a huge community presence. The recent refurbishments at the club give us the opportunity to bring people back to Harness Racing. The Commercial Operations Manager will be involved in all aspects of the promotion of the club. This person will look to maximise our current sponsorship relationships and drive new ones.
Collaboration will be the key to the Commercial Operations Manager success, as this role interacts closely with sales, marketing, service and finance teams to drive commercial initiatives and achieve business objectives.
In a dynamic market environment, the Commercial Operations Manager faces challenges such as declining patron numbers at the venue, attracting new younger audiences, evolving technologies, and competitive landscapes. Staying ahead of these trends is critical for success. Understanding and driving key social media strategies will help drive the visibility of the club
Key stakeholders for the position include the CEO, external marketing departments, key clients, external partners, and industry regulators. This position holds a strategic place in the company's organizational structure.
Success in this role is measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, function income, member acquisition, profitability margins, and successful partnership and sponsorship agreements.
