The ICT School Support Officer Role contributes to the overall mission of CEM by supporting and maintaining the ICT needs of Heritage Christian School – a leading independent school serving the Port Macquarie community. The role will be based on-campus at Heritage Christian School, providing onsite support to the students and staff, reporting directly to the Group ICT Manager.

This full-time role will commence as soon as possible.

A typical week in this role would include:

  1. Providing general support to end-users and solving their computing problems in a timely manner or effectively triaging their issues.
  2. Supporting software and applications, telecommunications and data services for the school.
  3. Assisting in maintaining CEM's ICT infrastructure, equipment and facilities.
  4. Management of user accounts within the various online learning platforms.
  5. Providing ICT support to the Group ICT Manager across the CEM Group.

Requirements

You'll be comfortable with our key end-user systems:

  1. Google Suite
  2. Apple Mac and iOS
  3. Microsoft
  4. Canvas
  5. Jamf

And our key back-end systems:

  1. Microsoft Windows Server
  2. Linux Server
  3. Aruba LAN/WAN/Wireless Networking and Telecommunications

You're solutions-focused and have an ability to complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines.
You'll have excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
You'll have the ability to work independently and also within a team to produce excellent outcomes.
Servant heart, vibrant Christian faith, and are actively involved in your local church.
Hold and maintain a valid Working with Children Check.
