About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Desktop Support Engineer to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 Field Service Support across our metro locations in NSW. This onsite role is integral to maintaining smooth IT operations and providing prompt technical support in collaboration with Healthscope's internal IT teams
Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesProvide Level 2 & 3 desktop and field support across Healthscope facilities.Perform basic network patching between switches and wall ports.Assist Network Engineers with network cable tracing and console connections.Support Windows 10 / 11 environments including troubleshooting, rebuilds, and application installation via SCCM and Intune.Assign security groups to facilitate device and application deployments.Rebuild computers in line with Healthscope's SCCM and Intune standards.Install and troubleshoot local and networked printers.Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through the Ivanti ITSM tool.Follow direction from the HSO Site Coordinator Lead and other designated Healthscope personnel.
Requirements and ExperienceFully onsite work at various Healthscope locations across NSW metro areas.Standard business hours : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday.May require occasional after-hours or weekend work based on site needs.Compliance with all applicable government health mandates and Healthscope's internal COVID-19 policies.Healthscope will provide access to required systems, workspace, and IT tools.Demonstrated experience in desktop and field support roles.Strong technical knowledge of Windows 10 / 11 operating systems, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune.Basic networking skills including switch patching, cable tracing, and console connectivity.Experience with ITSM tools (Ivanti preferred).Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and follow structured processes and technical instructions.6 months contract
