About Us

The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, the Senior Data & Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's data capability.

The role will be responsible for establishing and leading ongoing data governance, delivering high-quality interactive dashboard reporting solutions, and maintaining secure, scalable data repositories that enable evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

About You

To become a critical member of the IT & Facilities team, you will have well developed skills that include,
  • Lead the strategic design and optimisation of reporting frameworks and data delivery approaches
  • Provide line management to the Data & Reporting Analyst, ensuring clear direction, role clarity, and workload prioritisation to support effective delivery of team objectives and alignment with organisational priorities
  • Collecting, extracting, transforming and analysing data from various sources using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake
  • Create and maintain dashboards in Power BI
  • Establish and enforce governance, quality, and security practices access the data platform
