Aussie Painters Network (APN) is the leading information service for the Australian Painting and Decorating Industry. With over 30 years of experience from our founder, we have been at the forefront of industry development, publishing the Aussie Painting Contractor Magazine monthly and training apprentices in partnership with private RTOs in Queensland. We have our training facility in Salisbury as well as our unique mobile training facility, Painters Training Wheels, ensuring high-quality training reaches regional areas.

About the Role

As a Membership and Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in growing and maintaining our membership base while ensuring our clients' recruitment needs are met with quality and compliant personnel. This position involves managing membership databases, recruiting new members, and coordinating the hiring process while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage membership databases and respond to member inquiries
  • Conduct membership drives and recruitment initiatives
  • Interview and assess candidates for various roles
  • Organize recruitment and industry networking events
  • Build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide candidates with pre-placement information and training
  • Conduct post-placement follow-ups to ensure a high level of service
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with privacy requirements
  • Assist with business development efforts to expand APN's reach in the industry

About You

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in customer service, recruitment, or membership management
  • Ability to coordinate events and manage databases
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience in the painting or construction industry is a plus
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
