The role may involve working between our Campbellfield and Tullamarine sites to support the team as required.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure mechanical upkeep of production lines and maintain all machinery to high safety, reliability, and operational efficiency standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues; troubleshoot and repair breakdowns swiftly.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance daily to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.
  • Support Maintenance & Engineering initiatives such as new line setups and continuous improvement programs.
  • Join a team of 15 experienced electricians and fitters and collaborate to ensure optimal performance across operations.
  • Participate in onboarding and adapt to day-shift initially, with potential site transfers between Campbellfield and Tullamarine as required.
What you'll bring
  • Ability to flex between BAU, breakdowns, and project work; strong problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified C8 technician with advanced technical expertise in high-spec manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in multiple welding techniques with a focus on safety, precision, and durability.
  • Skilled in machine tools (e.g., lathes, milling machines) with high standards of accuracy and finish.
  • Competent in MEX and similar ERP systems for maintenance scheduling and data management.
  • Hands-on experience in high-demand industries (FMCG and pharmaceuticals) balancing productivity with quality controls.
  • Adept at fault-finding and resolving technical issues swiftly to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes on time with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
  • Dependable team player with clear communication and cross-department collaboration.
  • Holder of a Restricted Electrical License (REL) for electrical-related maintenance tasks.
