Job Overview :

As a Consultant at AlphaSys, you will support the design and delivery of platform-based solutions, primarily Salesforce, for clients across various purpose-driven industries, including nonprofit, education, and membership organizations. You will take ownership of configuration-based implementations with support from Consulting Directors, Functional Consultants, Solution/Technical Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to deliver meaningful technology outcomes that enhance organizational engagement and internal operations.

This role is ideal for a Salesforce certified administrator or early-career consultant eager to advance. As you deliver excellent client outcomes, master our methodologies, and pursue continuous learning, opportunities to progress to a Salesforce Functional Consulting role, leading larger transformational projects, will be available.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Deliver end-to-end solutions, including planning, design, development, testing, training, and handover.
  2. Lead requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, training, and deployment tasks across assigned solutions and projects.
  3. Contribute to business analysis and user requirement gathering through interviews and workshops.
  4. Collaborate with the Project Manager on client communication, project risk management, and budget adherence.
  5. Create user stories, process maps, solution documentation, and other business artifacts to high standards.
  6. Assist with data migration and integration tasks using established frameworks and guidance.
  7. Work proactively within AlphaSys delivery methodologies, seeking help when needed while owning your growth.
  8. Progress towards certifications, skill milestones, and delivery responsibilities aligned with a Functional Consultant career path.

Qualifications :

  • 1–3 years of Salesforce experience in a system administrator or consultant role.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201) required or actively pursued.
  • Experience with community-facing platforms (e.g., CRM, fundraising, case management, education management, or marketing tools) is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in information systems, business, or related fields are advantageous.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds, Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), and/or Education Data Architecture (EDA) is preferred.

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce core objects, automation tools, and reporting features.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on understanding business processes and user needs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new tools, domains, and delivery methods.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve outcomes in purpose-driven sectors.
