Senior Physiotherapist role at North Metropolitan Health Service. This is a Permanent Part Time appointment at 15.2 hours per fortnight (0.2 FTE).
Reporting to the Head of Department – Physiotherapy, this role practices as a senior physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and NMHS policies and guidelines. The position provides physiotherapy in an outpatient setting in the clinical specialty area of neurodevelopmental paediatrics for infants with or at risk of neurodevelopmental delay. In addition, this role acts as a staff/student clinical supervisor, consultant and educator, while planning, implementing and evaluating patient safety and quality of care.
Responsibilities- Practice as a senior physiotherapist in an outpatient neurodevelopmental paediatrics setting for infants with or at risk of neurodevelopmental delay.
- Ensure practice aligns with AHPRA requirements and NMHS policies and guidelines.
- Act as staff/student clinical supervisor, consultant and educator.
- Plan, implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care.
- Qualifications and experience relevant to the position; and the ability to address the essential selection criteria (e.g., statements addressing criteria 2, 4 and 6, a detailed resume, and two referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor).
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for permanent appointments in the public sector. Documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia is required for fixed-term appointments.
