Principal Operational Technology Cyber Security Specialist

Join Jacobs ANZ as a Principal OT Cyber Security Specialist to engage with and deliver OT and Cyber Security projects for clients in critical infrastructure. The role may be based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Auckland.

Overview

The purpose of this role is to undertake and lead the engagement with and delivery of projects for our Operational Technology and Cyber Security clients. You will plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client requirements, help build the pipeline of work by developing and capitalising on internal and external client relationships, and provide technical inputs and leadership. This position supports Jacobs\' continued improvement and development of OT and Cyber Security within the Digital Solutions Performance Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and undertake projects within OT and Cyber Security for critical infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrate ongoing technical competency and contribute and lead quality assurance activities
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, facilitating professional development
  • Use relationships with clients to identify and win upcoming work
  • Serve as a Senior QC reviewer for projects across the company in your nominated area of expertise
  • Identify, communicate and manage project risks and opportunities throughout a project lifecycle, and mitigate these risks
  • Support pursuit and delivery of OT and Cyber Security projects, including pipeline development with critical infrastructure clients and proposal preparation
  • Manage programs of projects and deliver scope for major project deliveries
  • Continuously upskill in your area of expertise and share knowledge through thought leadership within Jacobs
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary degree (in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field)
  • Robust knowledge of Operational Technology and Cyber Security standards and design
  • Experience in preparing project lifecycle documents (marketing and sales documents, proposals, consultancy reports, and design documentation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with teams and with internal and external clients
  • Experience in leading OT and cyber security pursuits and project delivery
  • Track record of building a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Ability to ensure compliance with local and national codes and standards
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and act as a resource for less experienced team members
