You will complete a Certificate IV in Information Technology over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver both first and second level support and guidance to staff and students regarding ICT-related issues.
  • Carry out other duties that are within the limits of trainee skills, competence and ability as required.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver ICT support and guidance to staff and students.
  • Complete duties within trainee skill level as required by the host employer and Zeal Futures.

What you'll bring to the table

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Commitment to both on and off the job training.
  • Great communication (verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients, and the ability to manage their expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, manage time and meet deadlines, along with the foresight to seek help or escalate when required.
  • Alignment to the schools values and to be able to work independently as well as within a team.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Have a current Police Check or be willing to obtain one.
