Our client is well-known and highly regarded in their industry. Due to growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost management, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the wider finance team to provide insight, strategic support, and direction.

The role :
  1. Accurate preparation of financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  2. Budgeting and forecasting
  3. Cash flow management
  4. Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
  5. Preparing company tax and BAS statements
  6. Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  7. Financial reporting and monitoring of trends
  8. Continuous improvement of department processes and procedures
What we're looking for :
  1. Tertiary qualifications, e.g., Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA (favourable but not essential)
  3. 5+ years experience (favourable)
  4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  5. Experience with creating financial statements
  6. Ability to motivate and lead teams
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  9. Excellent organisation and administration skills
  10. Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking abilities
  11. Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  12. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel and other accounting software
