Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Engineering Field Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that substation protection and control equipment operates to the required standards. This is a key position that requires a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and telecommunications solutions.

Your primary focus will be on commissioning substations and renewable energy projects, with a focus on control systems, networking, RTUs, SCADA, and protection devices. You will also be responsible for commissioning reports and technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Requirements
  • Education: Associate Diploma in Engineering (or Electrical Trade Certificate with extensive knowledge gained through relevant experience)
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and telecommunications solutions, commissioning control or protection systems, and technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, commitment to safety and wellbeing, and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
