About this Role

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President, Group Quality Management to lead the development and execution of quality assurance strategies across our global operations. This pivotal role will champion a culture of quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with global regulatory and customer requirements across all our products and solutions.

Reporting to the Group Chief Corporate Officer, this role will oversee and integrate cross-functional teams, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards while fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability.

In this role you will:

Develop and enforce robust quality policies, procedures, and standards aligned with business goals and international regulatory requirements.

Lead the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and other methodologies to foster a strong, sustainable quality culture.

Ensure all products and systems conform to defined specifications, safety regulations, and customer expectations.

Integrate and oversee cross-functional teams across Quality Assurance (QA), Supplier Management, and Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Service Centres and Technical Support to deliver measurable quality improvements.

Spearhead proactive risk mitigation through Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) processes, collaborating across R&D, Engineering, and Operations.

Monitor key quality indicators, identify trends, and drive corrective/preventive actions to elevate product and process performance.

Lead internal and external quality audits and ensuring compliance while simplifying and improving process efficiency.

Collaborate with Engineering, R&D and Manufacturing teams to embed Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and quality standards into new product development.

Inspire a global mindset of quality excellence. Influence teams across regions and functions to champion quality at every stage.

To be successful in this role you will:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Management.

At least 15 years of experience in R&D, quality assurance, reliability engineering, or testing in technology or manufacturing environments, preferably in a factory setting. Experience in the energy or utility sectors will be an advantage.

A strong background in Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, or other quality management systems, particularly in multinational environments (UK, EU, USA, Japan, Korea, Australia).

Good knowledge of product engineering processes, from design, development, testing, manufacturing, and lifecycle quality assurance.

Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to lead diverse, multi-functional teams across regions.
