Belgravia Leisure is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the hospitality operations at the newly developed East Fremantle Community Park—a vibrant hub for sport, leisure, and community engagement.

The Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will oversee the operations of the precincts hospitality offerings, including a Bar & Café, Function, and coordination with the Health Club, Football Oval, Bowling Greens, and Croquet Greens.

You will be responsible for:

  • Operational and financial performance of the F&B unit
  • Program development and stakeholder engagement
  • Driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth

About You

You are a hands-on, front-of-house leader with a passion for hospitality and events. You thrive in community-focused environments and know how to build high-performing teams. You're quick to connect with patrons and local clubs, and you're not afraid to innovate to drive results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage daily operations of café, bar, and restaurant
  • Lead, train, and roster F&B staff for optimal performance
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event teams for seamless service
  • Monitor inventory and negotiate with suppliers
  • Plan menus, pricing, and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Manage budgets and drive revenue growth
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in F&B management (bars, restaurant, functions, or events)
  • Relevant certifications in hospitality or F&B management
  • Knowledge of F&B industry trends, best practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in F&B management systems and operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
  • WA Approved Manager Certification
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate

East Fremantle Community Park is a unique, integrated space combining sport, leisure, and hospitality. It features:

  • Café, full-service restaurant, and bar
  • Health club with gym, group fitness, indoor cycling, and Reformer Pilates
  • Football oval (home to East Fremantle Football Club)
  • Bowling and croquet greens
  • Skate park, basketball half-court, and dog park
