An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join our Perth administration team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to work in ourPerth Administration team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. To be successful, youwill display a willingness to learn and have experience, ideally within acorporate environment i.e. legal or accounting practice.The OfficeAssistant role will provide excellent exposure and experience regarding the operationaland management aspects of a law firm. This role is full time, working 5 daysper week on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist with management of officefacilities and services including catering, safe custody, receptioncoverage, including assisting with boardroom and event organisation;
- maintain some of the operationalcosts of the Perth office (e.g. stationary, catering) as determined bymanagement;
- provide training foradministration team starters, as well as providing on-going support andassistance to teams;
- attend to building requests out, air conditioning issues and other facility matters;
- work closely with the OfficeManager with event co-ordination and planning;
- ensure the smooth coordinationand management of security access and building passes to the offices in onand off-peak times;
- data entry, including reconcilingcourier invoices, special mail requests and archiving;
- ordering and restockingstationery areas and printers;
- effectively managing incoming andoutgoing mail (internal and external); and
- assistance with generalday-to-day tasks as required.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' administration experiencein a professional services or corporate environment providing excellentcommunication and time management skills, with a client service focus. This isan exceptionally busy role, and the successful candidate will have experiencein prioritisation of key tasks and deliverables. You will have a proven historyof meeting deadlines and the ability to display initiative.
