About Prophet
Prophet builds digital clones of organisations – AI-powered, mathematical models that bring together thousands of internal, marketing, operational, and macroeconomic data points. These models allow leaders and marketers to test strategies, run \or scenarios, and make confident decisions before committing resources in the real world.
About the Role
You'll own Prophet's Australia market strategy and execution. With an established customer base, your mission is to accelerate growth through existing account expansion, strategic partnerships, and new customer acquisition across enterprise brands and agency networks.
This isn't a traditional sales role – you're Prophet's market leader in Australia. You'll leverage your network to position Prophet at the centre of Sydney's marketing ecosystem while building the commercial infrastructure that scales our market dominance.
Starting with direct market engagement, you'll establish Prophet's physical and strategic presence in Sydney, then build a high-performing team around proven frameworks and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Market Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Own Australia P&L targets: expand existing customer base while acquiring new enterprise logos quarterly and annually
- Drive account expansion across current customer portfolio, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Establish Prophet as the go-to solution for senior marketers and agency leaders across ANZ
- Strategic Partnerships & Channel Development
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with agency networks, consulting firms, and technology integrators
- Develop co-selling motions and joint market campaigns that amplify Prophet's reach
- Create and execute partnership frameworks that generate an increasing percentage of our annual revenue through indirect channels
- Market Presence & Relationship Building
- Be Prophet's consistent presence at key industry events, conferences, and leadership forums
- Cultivate C-suite relationships across target enterprise accounts and agency networks
- Host and participate in strategic industry discussions that position Prophet as thought leader
- Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature
- Develop and refine Prophet's go-to-market playbooks for Australian market conditions
- Build robust pipeline management and forecasting systems that ensure predictable revenue growth
- Team Building & Leadership
- Hire and develop commercial team members, starting with Sales Executive in Q1
- Create scalable sales processes, training programs, and performance frameworks
- Establish Sydney office operations and commercial infrastructure
- 8-10 years leading commercial teams in high-growth SaaS or marketing technology companies
- Established network of C-suite relationships across ANZ marketing and media ecosystem
- Proven track record building and scaling revenue in startup/scale-up environments
- Experience structuring and managing strategic partnerships that drive material revenue impact
- Strong presence in Sydney marketing community with ability to influence industry conversations
- Track record of building and leading high-performing commercial teams
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Market Impact: Own and define Prophet's success in our most strategic market
