Xylem is looking for an External Sales Representative. The role can be remote and regional-based. The External Sales Representative is responsible for achieving the Xylem Sales Objectives for the delegated NSW region. The role will promote the WSS Xylem Products to customers specialising in Mining and Industrial applications.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Work closely with the Sales Manager to design and implement a sales strategy that supports both growth and profitability while embracing diverse perspectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture meaningful relationships with clients, focusing on understanding their unique needs and delivering personalized solutions.
  • Service Promotion: Advocate for our comprehensive range of services, spare parts, rentals, and contracts with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Excellence: Manage sales orders, reports, and documentation with accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring alignment with both customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive team environment by participating in meetings, providing valuable feedback, and maintaining detailed CRM records.
  • Standards Compliance: Follow Xylem's pricing policies and adhere to our Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards with integrity.
About You
  • Technical Sales Experience: You have a solid background in technical sales with a focus on providing effective solutions.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in mining or pump industries, engineered products, or mining/industrial environments is a plus, but diverse experiences are highly valued.
  • Customer-Focused: Your strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric approach set you apart. Willing to travel across the NSW Region (moderate to high travel requirements).
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and organizational abilities help you balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Adaptable and Mobile: You're comfortable with frequent travel and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Water Industry Experience: Previous experience in the water industry, especially with mining clients in the NSW Region, is beneficial but not essential. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
