Are you passionate about driving excellence in healthcare? We're seeking a Quality Manager to lead and drive the quality, safety, and continuous improvement framework across our Oncology practices in Western Australia.
This is a permanent role, offering a 9-day fortnight and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the ongoing implementation of the clinical governance framework.
- Leading and driving the design, rollout, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyzing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting quality outcomes to the state and nationally, and driving continuous improvement initiatives benefiting patients and staff.
- Providing strategic oversight on accreditation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensuring compliance with national safety and quality standards (e.g., NSQHS).
- Supporting staff safety and quality capability building.
- Representing quality and safety as a key member of the state leadership team.
- Contributing to national quality projects as part of the broader quality team.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or quality.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Strong knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Experience with quality systems, SharePoint/Intranet, and risk/incident management tools.
- Experience in developing and delivering training related to quality and safety, and working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to foster a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in document standardization and control, internal audits, compliance, and process mapping.
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
